Walleye action continues to be off, but some fish are being taken during the day on live-bait rigs and crawlers on the main-lake flats in 10 to 14 feet. You have to cover a lot of water. Trolling crankbaits or anchoring with slip bobbers and leeches are producing a few more walleyes during low-light periods in 8 to 12 feet on the flats and breaks in Walker Bay. Muskies remain somewhat active, but they seem to be more scattered between the rocks and weeds this week.
