Walleyes are being caught on the south shore humps and reefs in 18 to 24 feet, but the anglers catching the most fish have remained mobile or stayed well past sunset. The 40- to 50-foot humps in Walker Bay are giving up walleyes, again during low-light periods. You’ll also pluck some walleyes during the evening hours in 18 to 22 feet or the 12- to 14-humps around Templar Point, Fisher’s Point, and the Breezy area. Sand Point is giving up some walleyes and perch in 9 to 12 feet, although you have to sort through numbers of small perch.
