Leech Lake Fishing Report for June 6, 2019

There’s been a bit of transition with the walleyes over the past week with more fish being taken on crawlers and leeches on the 12- to 14-foot structure, especially during midday hours. Walleyes also are hitting minnows or leeches during low-light periods and windy conditions on the shoreline breaks and points in 6 to 9 feet. Largemouth bass action has been excellent in the shallow weeds and reed areas and some muskies are being raised from shallow vegetation as well.
