There was still plenty of ice on the lake early this week, but the shorelines are open and the ice is turning black. It appears as though it won’t take long for the ice to go if it stays warm, rains, or there’s a combination of both.

Ice fishing options were limited early this week and most shorelines will likely be open far enough to prevent people from getting on the lake by this weekend.
