Leech Lake Fishing Report for Aug 22, 2019

August 22, 2019

The rock areas such as North Bar, West Bar, and Submarine have been producing muskies on bucktails. Some walleyes are being taken with spinners and crawlers on the 18- to 22-foot rocks or by trolling crankbaits in the Meadows area in less than 14 feet. There is an evening slip bobber/leech or crankbait bite from Sand Point to Cedar Point in 10 to 14 feet. Shingobee Bay started giving up panfish, while Steamboat Bay and Boy Bay have been best for largemouth bass.
