Walleyes continue to hit a jig and minnow on the wind-swept points and shorelines in 10 to 14 feet. Fish also are being caught on live-bait rigs or slip bobbers with leeches in 9 to 12 feet on the points or weed areas. Some limited walleye action is being reported at night with crankbaits or slip bobbers and leeches in 8 to 14 feet. Largemouth bass are hitting plastics and spinnerbaits in the reeds or shallow cabbage. Look for crappies in the bigger bays over 8 to 12 feet and bluegills in less than 6 feet.
Minnows are still producing walleyes on the wind-driven points and shorelines in 6 to 9 feet. If it’s calm or bright, anglers are having more success in 10 to 14 feet mainly on main lake structure with minnows, crankbaits, and leeches. Crappie and bluegill action has picked up throughout the reeds in Boy Bay and […]
Shiner minnows have been the ticket for walleyes along the wind-driven points and shorelines. The 8- to 10-foot weed areas are holding northern pike, while […]

The wind-driven shorelines and points have been the best options so far and anglers have been sorting through quite a few small walleyes. Northern pikes have been active anywhere there are some weeds […]
