Biking the Heartland Trail

The trail runs from the town of Walker to Park Rapids – a beautiful 49-mile journey.

A short drive south from Walker brings you to Pine River, Minnesota. There, Pine River Riding stables offer horseback riding on a 260+ acre ranch. The views are as exquisite as the experience is romantic. Snow-covered rolling hills on horseback – what could be better? If you are a beginner, you can even take a few horseback riding lessons while you’re there.
