Shores of Leech Lake

This is one of the few campgrounds that you can drive to. It’s located just north of Leech Lake and has very nice views of the lake and surrounding hills. The site is mostly level, with a grassy area that’s great for tents and RVs. A few picnic tables, fire rings, and grills are also available.

The campground offers full hookups (30/50 amps) and free Wi-Fi internet access. There are also showers and bathrooms available in this campground.

Moonlight Bay Resort & Campground

This resort offers cabins, camping sites, RV sites, cottages, and chalets. They also have an outdoor hot tub on site that people can enjoy after taking a dip in the lake or swimming at one of the beaches around Leech Lake. Moonlight Bay Resort & Campground has many different amenities, including Wi-Fi access in all buildings, so you can stay connected while enjoying all that Leech Lake has to offer!

Acorn Hill Camping Resort

Acorn Hill Camping Resort has been around since 1972, and they say they have been known as “The Best Place To Stay On The Lake” since then! This resort has over 20 cabins available for rent or purchase, and they offer campsites in addition to those cabins. Acorn Hill Camping Resort boasts its private beach on the Leech Lake shoreline, a location that is perfect for families and groups of all sizes. An ideal camping spot for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature at its finest.

Sugar Point

Sugar Point Campground is located near the shores of Leech Lake, just a short walk from the lakefront. It features 50 campsites with picnic tables, fire pits, grills, water spigots, and a small store selling firewood, ice, fishing gear, and bait supplies. Don’t expect any showers or potable water fountains available here. There are two vault toilets public for use throughout the campground, but no showers or potable water fountains available here.

The Shores at Pine Point 

The Shores at Pine Point is a small campground on the shoreline of Leech Lake. There are only 18 sites available, but each one is large enough to accommodate two tents or one tent and one camper trailer. The Shores at Pine Point offers RV hookups, fire pits, picnic tables, and grills. The Shores at Pine Point is located just a few miles from downtown Isle Royale National Park, another reason why people love it so much!
