Leech Lake Fishing Report for Sept 26, 2019

September 26, 2019

Sucker Bay is producing decent numbers of eating-size walleyes, as is First Duck Point, Little Hardwoods, and Second Duck Point in 9 to 12 feet. Walker Bay is producing walleyes off the shoreline breaks and points, but walleyes continue to be scattered. Jiggin’ Raps, a jig and minnow, crawlers, and live-bait rigs with large minnows are working. Perch reports have been strong off Sand Point, the Narrows, and towards GrandVu in less than 8 feet. Muskies continue to be pulled off the main lake rocks or weeds in Agency Bay. Duck hunting has started somewhat slow, although there are some wood ducks being shot.
