A jig and minnow is producing walleyes early and late each day in less than 12 feet, as are Jiggin’ Raps in 15 feet during the day. Better areas have been Cedar Point, Agency Narrows, Goose Island, and the Snake Pit. Trolling crankbaits around Pine Point, Cedar Point, and Sand Point in 9 to 12 feet has turned walleyes at night. Muskie action remains very good with bucktails on the rocks and rock-covered points. The duck season started on a good note, especially for those hunting areas with rice beds.
