Leech Lake Fishing Report for Sept 19, 2019

September 19, 2019

Walleye reports continue to be spotty with some fish being taken on crankbaits, a jig and minnow or crawlers. The fish seem to still be spread out and covering water continues to be the best option throughout the main lake. Rigs and large minnows are producing some walleyes on the 12- to 15-foot breaks in Walker Bay and the evening slip bobber/leech bite continues off Sand Point. Anglers continue to sort through perch at Sand Point, GrandVu Flats and the Narrows. Muskies are chasing bucktails on the shoreline rocks, flats, and weed edges.
