Leech Lake Fishing Report for June 8, 2018

A jig and minnow continues to produce walleyes on most wind-driven shorelines and points. Better areas this week have been the east and west shorelines of Walker Bay in 15 to 25 feet, West Goose Flats and Stoney Point in 7 to 15 feet, Trader’s Bay in 8 to 12 feet, and back side of Pine Point in 6 to 10 feet. Bass action has been strong, but muskie reports have started out slow.
