Leech Lake Fishing Report for June 29, 2018
June 29, 2018
Walleye action seems to have moved off the weed edges and onto the rock piles in Walker Bay or the 15- to 20-foot rocks throughout the main lake. Slow-death rigs and crawlers are working best and some fish are being taken with crankbaits on the flats in 14 feet. The rocks also are holding muskies, but anglers are having a tough time getting them to commit to a bait. Hit the Minnesota Island area in Steamboat Bay for bass and the cabbage beds in Shingobee Bay for panfish.
