Leech Lake Fishing Report for July 27, 2018

Leech Lake Fishing Report for July 27, 2018

July 27, 2018

Muskie action has improved quite a bit from last week with good reports of active fish coming out of Portage Bay, Sucker Bay, Agency Bay, and the Two Points area. Walleyes are tough to catch during the day, but you will hook a few during low-light periods with slip bobbers and leeches or spinners and crawlers off Sand Point and Cedar Point in 10 to 14 feet. Trolling crankbaits in these areas after dark also has produced some walleyes. Find the cabbage beds in most bays and you’ll catch bluegills and bass.
