Leech Lake Fishing Report for July 11, 2019
July 11, 2019
Spinners and crawlers are turning walleyes on the main lake rock in 15 to 20 feet or the 9- to 12-foot weeds in Sucker Bay. The north end humps in Walker Bay are giving up walleyes, as are the breaks off Cedar and Sand points in 12 to 14 feet. Muskie anglers are seeing fish, but catching only a few on the weeds with topwater baits. Jerkbaits are turning smallmouth bass on the rocks, and plastics are working for largemouth in the bays.
