Leech Lake Fishing Report For January 28th, 2021

January 28, 2021

Anglers fishing in the evenings and overnight hours are catching more walleyes than midday anglers. The 20- to 24-foot breaks or deeper humps in Walker Bay are producing some fish, as are the main lake flats and points in 12 to 15 feet. Shingobee Bay is producing bluegills and the northern bays are giving up quite a few crappies. Perch activity, at least for good-size fish, has been slow.
