Leech Lake Fishing Report For January 22nd, 2021
January 22, 2021
Low-light periods continue to be best for walleyes on the main lake points and structure in 15 to 18 feet. The key during midday hours is to stay on the move and pick off the aggressive fish in a given area and then move on. Walker Bay is producing walleyes in 25 to 35 feet, but there have been more small fish in the mix. Perch action has been spotty and involves quite a bit of sorting through small fish. Look to Pine Point, Bear Island area, or the north side of Walker Bay in 10 to 14 feet.
