Leech Lake Fishing Report For December 31st, 2020

December 31, 2020

Walker Bay had 4 to 6 inches of ice early this week, while some cracks and 8 to 11 inches of ice is being found on the main lake. Fishing activity remains light, but a few people are catching walleyes at night off Pipe Island and Olson’s Reef in 15 to 18 feet, Pine Island in 9 to 13 feet, and the shoreline breaks in Walker Bay. You have to sort through numbers of small perch, but Sand Point is producing some keepers in 7 to 10 feet.
