Leech Lake Fishing Report for Dec 19, 2019

Lake conditions remain sketchy and there hasn’t been much fishing activity as a result. Most areas of the lake have slush under the snow making travel difficult. On Walker Bay, ice depths range from 2 to 10 inches so moving around on it is not advised. Out of Trapper’s Landing, 8 to 10 inches of ice is being found, but slush is a concern in this area as well. They are working on getting a road system in place, although it was not ready early this week.
