You have to cover water to catch walleyes during the day. Crankbaits or spinners and crawlers are producing some daytime fish in 12 to 15 feet around Goose Flats, the Snake Pit, and Cedar Point in Walker Bay. A slip bobber and leech also is producing some walleyes in the weeds and Walker Bay breaks in 9 to 12 feet. Muskie action remains best on the main lake rocks, but some fish have been caught in the weeds in Sucker Bay as well.
