Report from the Dock – Minnesota Fishing Conditions

Fishing activity across Minnesota remains very light this week. Ice and shoreline conditions in the northern part of the state haven’t changed much since last week, but with spring weather moving in, few anglers are heading out. Many are eager to transition to open water fishing where possible, though water temperatures remain cool, keeping fish less active. Reports of successful catches are limited, and anglers should be prepared for minimal action until the water warms.

Leech Lake Fishing Report – Walker, MN

On Leech Lake near Walker, there has been very little fishing activity since last week. A fresh layer of snow has increased uncertainty around ice and shoreline conditions, and many access points remain compromised. While some main-lake ice still exists, interest in fishing it has declined sharply. Small lakes in the area have also seen minimal activity.
