Bailey’s Resort in Walker, MN is located on Kabekona bay on the west end of Leech Lake in the beautiful Chippewa National Forest.  This resort offers many activities like kayaking, canoeing and biking on the Paul Bunyan bike trail that runs past the driveway of the resort.

Bailey’s is a great place for your family to stay at for your Leech Lake family vacation. They offer a beach and playground where everyone can shoot hoops, play volleyball, play a game of horseshoe or have a bonfire. Bailey’s also offers hydro bikes and an aqua jump.  They have a nearby golf course where you can work on your swing and if you are a hunter or shooting fanatic, the Northstar Sportsmen’s Club is only 5 minutes away.

They offer eight non-smoking cabins that are modern and fully equipped with a kitchen. Each cabin is completely furnished with beds and linens; all you have to bring is your towel, toiletries and food. If that wasn’t good enough each cabin has a view of the lake and has its own deck with tables and chairs to admire your view.

Bailey’s Resort in Walker, MN also provides a prime spot for fishing on Leech Lake.  Their protected 1,000 acre bay offers walleyes, northerns, bass, panfish and even muskies. Their protected location gives the benefits of sheltered fishing and boating waters with access to the larger parts of Leech Lake.

Dana and Cindy Pitt are born and raised in Minnesota and love the walker area! They are in their 14th year of running Bailey’s Resort.  In 2006 they were named, Resorter of the Year by the Congress of Minnesota Resorts. Bailey’s Resort is a true Up-North family vacation for all!
