Agency Bay Lodge is one of the many wonderful resorts and lodges that lace the shores of Leech Lake near Walker, Minnesota. Agency Bay Lodge, named for its location, is actually sandwiched on a peninsula directly between two beautiful bays on Leech Lake: Agency and Traders. This unique location affords visitors great opportunity for fishing, watersports, hiking in the Chippewa National Forest, and more. They have over 2,000 feet of shoreline, including a sugar sand beach. Agency Bay alone is 3.5 miles of great fishing.
To aid fishermen in pursuit of the big catch, Agency Bay Lodge Minnesota offers protected docking, rental equipment, gas, bait, and great service. They also provide cabins fully furnished with dishes, flat screen TV’s, microwaves, and the lake, so that fishermen and families alike will be comfortable for their stays. On days when the weather prevents visitors from enjoying the lake, the city of Walker is only 14 miles away, where guests can shop, enjoy diners, and make memories.
The Lodge also offers a number of activities, from roasting marshmallows and playing in the game room to fishing seminars and other scheduled activities.
Agency Bay Lodge Minnesota has been in this location for over 30 years. There have been four owners since it was founded in 1958. Ron, the current owner, has this to say about his favorite part of running the resort:
“I enjoy being a part of people’s dreams and vacations. Many people dream about their vacation all year and I get to be a part of that dream. Whether they catching a big fish, catching a first fish, meet new friends, and have family fun. Being the host I am fortunate to be a part of guest memories and making sure they enjoy their time.”
As fall approaches and the leaves are starting to turn. Enjoy the colorful season and plan a fantastic fall getaway at Agency Bay Lodge, a perfect Minnesota vacation destination for everyone.
