Leech Lake Fishing Report for July 13, 2018
July 13, 2018
A slip bobber and leech or live-bait rigs and crawlers are producing walleyes in the weeds of Trader’s Bay, Sucker Bay, and off Sand Point during the evening hours. The humps in Walker Bay started giving up a few more fish and some walleyes are being caught at night by trolling crankbaits from Sand Point to Cedar Point in 9 to 14 feet. Reports on the main lake have been slower, likely due to a significant mayfly hatch. The cabbage in Shingobee Bay is producing bluegills, and muskie reports have been best off the south end rocks or weeds in Portage and Sucker bays.
