Spring is around the corner

Although it is still cold and snow is still on the ground spring is on its way, slowly but surely. With spring brings new activities and more opportunities to travel and be outdoors. Wedgewood Golf Course and Driving Range along with Wildwedge Gold and Mini Golf are both 9-hole courses and are sure to be great places to practice your swing.
When it comes to hiking and biking Leech Lake offer so many trails to choose from you won’t know where to start. There is Heartland Trail located just south of Walker which is one of the oldest paved trails in Minnesota’s North woods. It offers breath taking views and a hiker’s paradise. Paul Bunyan State Recreational Trail is another you should be sure to visit. It’s an easy going trail that offers beautiful scenery. There are also many trails you can bike through and enjoy the fresh spring air.

Leech Lake in Cass County is about 112,000 surface acres and 150 feet in depth at its deepest point although a majority of the lake is roughly35 feet deep.
