Leech Lake Fishing Report for Oct 13, 2017
October 13, 2017
The 14- to 20-foot main lake breaks are producing walleyes on a jig and minnow. During low-light periods, work the 4- to 7-foot rocks or the 9- to 12-foot break from Sand Point to Cedar Point with crankbaits for walleyes. Muskie reports have slowed, but Trader’s Bay is producing perch in 8 to 12 feet. Grouse hunting reports have improved with the leaves dropping. With the exception of a few ringnecks moving in, local ducks are still being shot.
