East – Most bays have 8 inches of ice and although main-lake ice conditions are improving, check with a resort before venturing out. Perch are being caught on the reef edges and outside the edges of the bays in 12 to 18 feet. Good numbers of walleyes are being taken on spoons and minnow heads in 16 to 24 feet. Angling and spearing for pike has been good in the bays such as Isle, Cove, and Wahkon.
