September 26, 2012

The Leech Lake area has activities going on year round, from Moondance Jammin’ Country fest in the summer, Fall events, Festival of Lights and Eelpout Festival, just to name a few. With plenty going on all year long, you are sure to find a Leech Lake event to keep you coming back month after month.

If you’re looking to be charitable this weekend, Tom Clusiau’s Walker Ford is holding an event to raise money for the Cass County Museum. Stop in to test drive a car at no obligation and make your donation!

Also in the Walker area, be sure to check out the Walleye Dinner being hosted at the Leech Lake Senior Center. This event happens on the fourth Friday of every month and features delicious homemade desserts from 5-7pm.

If you like to try your luck at the poker tables, don’t miss out on Northern Lights Casino‘s “Money Tree” event going on Saturdays and Sundays until November 4th. Every hour from 6pm-10pm a winner will be drawn to pick leaves from their money tree, and each leaf could be worth $25-100!

The Northern Lights Event Center is also hosting this years 14th Annual Walker Rotary Benefit EXTRAVAGANZA on September 29th. They will be having a $10,000 Reverse Raffle as a grand prize, but don’t forget to bid on the silent auction to win a trip for two to Las Vegas! With great food and entertainment, this years extravaganza is sure to be a hit.

With the summer at a close and winter just around the corner, be sure and take full advantage of the beautiful fall weather and all of the wonderful events that your Leech Lake Area has to offer.
