DESCRIPTION:
Oak Point Resort is very secluded,nestled in the Chippewa National forest. We are the only resort located on the east side of Steamboat Bay. We just remodeled 3 cabins and I don't think you will find nicer cabins for our price.
Enjoy a beautiful sunset and campfire on our protected bay after a full day of all the accommodations we can offer you.
You can find your own kind of peace as you troll the lake for your catch of the day, or relax on the dock, swim and jump off the raft, kayak, canoe and paddleboat or just curl up by a campfire.
Each of our 2-3 bedroom cabins are maintained year around, all remodeled, and very clean. Fully equipped kitchens, bathroom facilities,your own BBQ, firepits, picnic table and lawn chairs.
Bucks is the perfect location for a variety of recreation for the whole family. Also a prime spot for deer,bear,grouse,water fowl and small game hunting.
For the winter enthusiast, ice fishing is very popular on Leech Lake as it offers plenty of action for jumbo perch, walleye, northern pike. Spear house rental is available. There are miles of snowmobile trails nearby.
Our main lodge also open year around with a huge fieldstone fireplace is a great gathering place for all are guests. Features include a pool table, ping pong, pinball, foosball, games, bar, pizza, snacks, bait and gas.
