June 22, 2009
Leech Lake Area

Floating jigs tipped with leeches or minnows are producing walleyes on North Bar and Submarine Island. Walleyes are hitting Shad Raps in six to 12 feet off Sand Point, Cedar Point, and the Hardwoods. A jig and minnow is working best in six feet throughout Agency Bay. The weeds near Duck Point are producing limits of perch and Minnesota Island is the best big bass option. Muskie anglers are seeing fish in the shallows around Pelican Island and in Walker Bay.
